At first, I was a bit confused. I had to really study every aspect of it, but finally it clicked. The seller does not give a lot of step-by-step directions and if you have done other types of escape rooms in classrooms, it is not the same format as many. However, I was very successful at forming 4 groups, placing the clues and hints all over the room. There were a couple of pages I wished I had duplicated a copy of, like the page with the picture and letter key and the last clue to get into the Queen's garden. Also, I would recommend multiple working copies of the maze. Nothing has to be solved in any particular order, and the kids will go back and forth around the room. They were told to keep quiet so as to not let other groups here them. My class loved the challenge and didn't want to stop until they solved it. Thanks!
Bought this for a teen birthday party. Everyone loved it. The pieces/clues were beautiful and set up was very easy. I will definitely be purchasing another game in the future.

Easy to print and use straight away
Some of this wizard escape room was really cute, but it proved very difficult to print out. The pdf had some technical issues and the pages took a long time to process (and kept crashing my printer driver). I had this for an 11 year old's birthday party, and overall it frustrated the kids and they did need a lot of assistance to solve this. It was still fun, and if you can manage getting it printed and don't mind helping your kids, it's fun.

How do you print a print-and-play escape room?

- Open the PDF file you received after purchase.
- Save it somewhere easy to access (Desktop, Downloads, or a dedicated 'Escape Rooms' folder).
2. Choose Your Paper
Most escape rooms print perfectly on:
- A4 or Letter size
- Standard printer paper (80–100gsm)
3. Check Your Printer Settings
Before printing, set:
- Scale: 100% (not 'fit to page' unless the file requests it)

Do I have to print in colour?
Yes. This is our only true rule. Many clues are based around colour, so printing in black and white might mean you never escape! Uh oh.

Can I use props and locks to enhance the experience?
Absolutely! Adding extra layers of complexity always adds that extra special touch. You can add extra theming, such as props and displays to immerse players in the game.
Most of the games are designed to be fully self-contained and playable immediately, but if you would like to DIY numerical codes or word codes into locks and cryptexes that you have available, go for it!
If I set up the game, can I still play?
Yes! The host can still play along with the game after setting up. Each escape room is designed so that the puzzle answers are unclear until completion. (As long as you don’t sneak a look at the answer pages.) So have fun!
